Having a “home” for all travel information. If you study all you want to do on holiday, take that information and make a hanging file, a folder or accordion folder. No matter what you use as “home” for their work plans, just stick to one place. If you are a mail, create a digital “on vacation” folder.

Call ahead to your destination to see what services they offer, so you know exactly what to pack, which is free and any other relevant information that you are planning your trip.

Having a flexible schedule and time of what is done on the day of your vacation. Otherwise, you lose time trying to decide what to do.

Make sure you have a “List of House” for the person taking care of your home while you are away. Type your to do for that person, like what to do with mail, plants, pets, etc.
